When: Monday and Wednesday Mornings 8:10am and Monday evenings 7:10pm
What: 40 minutes of sitting followed by tea and discussion
These sessions are open to students, staff and faculty as well as to folks from off campus. Everyone is welcome. If it is your first experience with meditation, instruction is available. The meditation starts promptly at 10 minutes past the hour so please arrive early.
Our morning practice schedules correspond with the university's fall and winter terms. The last morning session this school year will be Monday, April 28, 2008. The evening sessions will continue through the spring and summer.
During these sessions, we observe some of the forms and disciplines found in formal Zen practice environments. It can be helpful to arrive early for your first visit or two in order to learn some of these simple practices.
There is no charge.
